Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Welcome to the MrExcel board!

You have given some sample data from the two files, but what results are you trying to achieve and which file will those results be in?

In your samples File A seems to have the 'fuller' name and File B the shortened names. Is that always the case?

I'm still not sure what exact results you want for that sample data or which file those results should appear in.
