Happy new year to all,

Can you help me to name sheets in workbook based on cell value specifically (J2).

Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry, I thought it works for all the sheets.

All (J2) of sheets are linked to J2 of sheet1. I want to rename the sheets based on the value of their corresponding (J2). When I tried to put all your codes and change the value of (J2) in sheet1 only the name of sheet1 changed and others didn't changed but the value of their (J2) already changed.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
what formula are you using in the other sheets ?
How many "other" sheets are there ??

It depends, but up to maximum of 26 sheets, my formula for sheet2 is =CHAR(CODE(sheet1!J2)+1) for sheet 3 =CHAR(CODE(sheet2!J2)+1) so on and so forth
