Hello and Welcome to the Message Board!!


I personally do not use them much. They are not neccesary to most average formulas.


I think named ranges are great for being able to better understand what the references actually mean:

=SUM($A$2:$A:$100)
or
=SUM(Income)


At a glance, we can easily see that the above is adding up the Income
Especially true if your formula becomes 'Mahoosive'
