Narrow pivot table selection

I have a pivot table with several selection at the top. I would like to control the option being available for next selection if the upper selection is chosen. For example, if the upper choices are fruit and furniture, once fruit is chosen, the next choice can only be Orange, Apple, Banana. Now my pivot shows all (Orange, Apple, Banana, Table, Chair, Lamp) even though I already picked Fruit, very much appreciate the help.
