Need A Macro

Hi Team,

Please help me with a coding.

I Generally have 7 Queues (Log in, Meeting, Break, East Queue, West Queue, Others,Log out) in a range B5 as a drop down list

And Just below that i have a start time and end time cells in B6 and B7.

I want such a macro where if i select any dropdown from B5 the start time shud appear and when i change the dropdown then a specific range us given where the Start time and End time should get capture and simultaneously the again the new start time should come when i change the Drop down.

please see the below format. And Suggest if it is possible to do so.

Thank You, Its working now.

But i when i change the drop down.The end time shud come.

For example.

if i select Meeting on 5:10 pm from the drop down (B5) and i changed the queue from meeting to East Queue at 5:50 pm. Which means i have been in meeting for 40mins. Then i have a consolidation area in the same sheet starts from rannge A11 where all the changes should get recorded or updated. Like How much time the associate spend on each Queue Start and End time of each selection.

Did you try it? When you change the dropdown the person's details and the start time are transferred to the area below. If there is a previous record the end time is stored in that record.

One Small Query, How can i protect the macro enable sheet wherein the macro shud work as well as the ranges shud not get edited.

You would need to unprotect the worksheet at the beginning of the macro and protect it again at the end.

Is it possible that some range of the sheet is locked where the code puts its value.

Refering to the above example the ranges where the start and end time is getting saved that needs to be protected
