I have a training spreadsheet (to keep track of employees training). I am trying to use conditional formatting to have the cell turn green if the employee has received training in the past year, red if the time has gone past a year, and yellow if the word "training" is entered.
I can get the green condition and the red condition but I cannot get the third condition. If the word "trained" is entered or the cell is blank it will still be green.
Here is an example of what I am trying to use, like I said the first two conditions work:
Condition 1: Formula Is =$A$1<TODAY()-365
Condition 2: Formula Is =$A$1 >TODAY()-365
Conditon 3: Formula Is =$A$1="training"
If I cannot use conditional formatting could I use VBA code instead, if so please help, because I am clueless.
