I have Microsoft office 2007 on my Windows 7 desktop.
I have downlaoded an xls file that I want to use (a portfolio tracker that is supposed
to update various fields.)
When I open it, I get the following message:

This workbook was last saved by an earlier version of Excel. The following data may have been lost:
.Query Table

I'm an Excel novice, and was wondering where to find the table in the workbook to update it; and/or how to resolve this problem.

I would appreciate any help offered.

Thanks,
****

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
