Need to copy/paste only the non-hidden columns

I have columns A-D, but I want to hide B & C and then copy the data from A & D to somewhere else. However, when I paste the data everything from A to D shows up. Any suggestions?

Try

Range("A:D").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible).Copy

With columns A to D selected...
- Press F5
-click on Special
- select Visible cells only and press ok
Now when you copy, only the visible cells will be copied
