Hi everybody,

I would like to get my numbers in paranthesis. For positive numbers i did the following:

format --> custom --> (#.##). problem is that numbers smaller than 1 are shown as (.67) where i want them to be (0.67).

negative numbers i don 't how to format. I can do them all manually but takes ages. manually would go like '(-0.34) --> (-0,34) which is excellent. Mannually takes ages however.

Help would be much appreciate! I am using version 2007.

cheers!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi,

Try this format: (#,##0.00), should also work for negative numbers.

Thx for reply james.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for negative numbers. Negative numbers become -(0,45) where i would like them to become (-0.45). Would you happen to know how that works?

cheers!
