Excel 2003.
hey, so I have been working on a time log for all employee's at my work (35 of us) I have an excel for that lists all employees on shift so the supervisor can keep track (Me) i need a way to auto enter there names depending on what day it is.
example.
Emp. 1 Emp. 2 Emp. 3
Wed. EE KK RR
Thur. EE KK SS
Fri. RR KK TT
Sat. RR ss YY
problem is i have 3 shifts of 4 Emp. each in a 24 hour period. (midnight - 8am, 8am - 4pm, 4pm - midnight)
I have a =Today() formula in the date cell K52
Emp. 1 c47
Emp. 2 I47
Emp. 3 C48
Emp. 4 I48
i've tried a number of things (can't remember most) including variable formulas for using a table with the times, dates and names already inputed in a seperate sheet with but couldn't for some reason get an IF statement to work, anyone have any ideas?
