i have Y values data in column AB//..

and I have X values data in columsn ...AC to AG ...

i m doing multiple linear regression using 5 X variables.....

so now.....may data starts in AB4...
but the problem is that i want to do ..
= linest ( y values , arrat ogf x values )

this is simple....if my data length is constant ..

now my data length is not constant ...it some times is say 50 rows...and sometimes 500 rows...

how do i deal with tis issue.......

as my linest in case 1 wud be .....= linest ( ab4 to ab54 , ac 4 to ag54 )..

or next time it ll be till 500 rows..
how do i make this range dynamic in my formala....

pls help....

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Try using the offset function.

Something like:

=LINEST(OFFSET(AB1,,,COUNTA(AB:AB)),OFFSET(AC1:AG1,,,COUNTA(A:A)))
