I just set up a new computer, and in the process upgraded to Windows 11. I noticed that worksheet tabs in Excel are now "pill shaped," with a bit of cushion between each one. (I've included a screenshot below.)

Is there any way to adjust this or revert to the old style? Or are we stuck with this going forward?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Colour seem to be about it

They've been like that for a while & it's nothing to do with Win11 & you cannot change the style, just the colour.

For awhile? I'm a bit confused, because my old computer is running Excel Version 2309, and the tabs still have the old style, whereas my new computer is also running Excel Version 2309, but the tabs have the new style. The only difference between the two computers is that the old one is running Windows 10 whereas the new one is running Windows 11.

The tab styles changed some time ago, I can only think that you somehow disabled that change, but it would only have temporary.
