New to acess

Hi all I am new to access and i am looking on informattion on where i should get started.

Welcome to the Forum,

You need to think about a project that you want to build. Then you would plan what you want to get out of the database. Then that will help with how you can plan it.

look at something like YouTube how to build a database, or Tables, Then Queries, Then Forms, Then Reports

That should give you a start point.

Before even getting to the planning stages, I think it is important to understand a few things, otherwise, you could program yourself into a corner and create a nightmare of a situation for yourself (been there, done that):
- how to use Access
- concepts of relational databases (especially Data Normalization)

A good introductory book or class will help with the first thing (I used Microsoft's "Step-by-Step" series). For the second, you can also find books that teach that.
