New to working with arrays

I think I have set up an array, and with this array I want to search through it and if any duplicates occur put "delete" in the column next to it.
Here is what I have so far:

Dim arData(k, 4 + 1)
    For i = 1 To k
        For j = 1 To 4
            arData(i, k) = Cells(i + 4, j)
            arData(i, 5) = arData(i, 1) + arData(i, 2) + arData(i, 3)
        Next
    Next
For i = 1 To UBound(arData, 1) - 1
        For j = j + 1 To UBound(arData, 1)
            If arData(i, 5) = arData(j, 5) Then
                arData(i, 4) = arData(i, 4) + arData(j, 4)
                arData(j, 5) = "delete"
            End If
        Next
    Next
    For i = 1 To UBound(arData)
        If arData(i, 5) <> "delete" Then
            j = j + 1
            Cells(j, k) = arData
        End If
    Next

I think set the parameters for the array, now can someone tell me if I am headed in the right direction and maybe how I can start the search through the paper.
