hey all...

m a begineer in Microsoft Excel VBA...an intro abt myself...m an ERP Analyst in a Financial Organization...m a JCP (Java Certified Professional)...live in Bombay :cool:

Just needed some help...trying to display a msgbox when opening Excel...hmmm...it shud display today's date preceding watever text in Msgbox in a Subroutine()...tried numerous websites and even googling...but all of them have examples on calendar or userforms...plz let me know if there is a way :eek:

My friend...how do I put today's date as a code after my message in the Msgbox "My text here" --in the subroutine? you have answered my question but its an irrelevant answer :cry:

I'm sorry, I dont understand your question?

Do you mean display the date with the message?

If you use the above option you will get a message box, with your message then todays date

(Try this in a routine)

Please expand further, thanks

thanks mate...got it...u just need to mention the keyword "Date" and delimit your msg and the date with an ampersand in the subroutine ! :wink: !
