is there anyway to creat a new workbook and instead of creating it with 'book1' it creates a WB with a suggested name?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If the user is going to enter the new file name, use a MsgBox to get the new name, and store it in a string (NewFileName makes sense...).

Then just do wb.SaveAs NewFileName.
