Hi, I have a button that creates new Sheets in a new Workbook.

When I click it, a MsgBox asks for a filename. If I enter a filename that exists, as expected I get "File already exists do you wish to replace it?"

Whether I use a pre-existing file name and click "yes", or I use a new filename, as each new sheet opens I get a message box "There is already data here. Do you wish to replace it?"

This is a new worksheet in a new workbook. Why would there already be data there? Is there any way to tell Excel to just ignore this?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
