Every time I open my wb I get a message (as expected) saying that one or more links could not be be updated. Does code in the Workbook_Open event run before such messages are generated?

I'd like to accomplish the following with code (in order of preference):

1) Avoid this error being displayed if the cause is "Source not found", or cause the equivalent of the "Continue" button being pressed. If I can't specify the cause, then just avoid the error being displayed at FileOpen.

2) Define the attribute of individual (or groups of) links such that they are not updated at File_Open.

I do want to update all other links at open.
