HI
I have a column of numbers and need to add decimal and comma
Example
110400 should be 1104.00 - computer thinks this is 110400.00 - which is incorrect - Can a formula be written to have end result 1,104.00

another issue
13800000 should be 138.00

I would be so grateful if a formula can be provided to correct these two items
Thank you you in advance

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I think your rules need to be clarified/nailed down a bit better.
You said:
110400 should be 1104.00

13800000 should be 138.00
So then how do you know where the decimal point should go?
Will all numbers zeroes after the decimal, so all trailing zeroes can be dropped from the whole number (and made a decimal)?

But if that were true, how would a number like "100" be represented, and how can you tell it from "1" or "10"?
i.e. how would you know if "10000" should really be "100.00", "10.00", or "1.00"?
