TIA

I copy a forecast from a website and paste the numbers in excel for calculations. But it won't let me modify those numbers for some reason. They must be recognized as a text, i'm not quite sure. I need to be able to get excel to recognize these numbers as numbers.

I'd appreciate all the help.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Try entering the number 1 in any open cell . . . select that cell, copy it, then select all the numbers you are trying to convert from text to numbers, and paste special > multiply.

Hope that helps,
