Numbers won't sort correctly

I have a column of numbers that were generated via the formula:
(AB3-N3)/N3

However, when I sort the number from largest to smallest or vice versa, the numbers won't sort properly.

Is there a way to sort the number without going through paste value process?

Check to see that the format is Number or General, not Text.
Alernatively, check that you haven't used the Text() function.
