Numerical Order

I'm working in a pivot table and I can't get the numbers in order. I have changed their formats to numbers and it still doesn't work. Any ideas what to try? I'm working in Office 2010. Thank you for your help!

Your numbers are stored as text. You need to fix it in the source data for the pivot table.

Format the column as General, select the column, and do Data > Text to columns, Finish.

Thank you! I tried that and it still didn't work. I chose both Delimited and Fixed Width.

Actually I just tried getting rid of my formulas I had in that column and it worked! My numbers are in numerical order now!

You're welcome, but there was no need to get rid of the formulas; they could have been modified to return numbers rather than text.
