Office Tab

I just "discovered" http://www.extendoffice.com/product/office-tab.html, a site that provides the ability to have a "Workbooks bar" into Office.

I like the approach pretty bad, since I can produce an interface as below...:

My question is basically how can I mimic this makeover, since I'd like to customize it even more.
