I have an OFFSET which i want to return " " instead of 0 when the source cell is empty.

here is the formula {=OFFSET(K1,$W$18,0,$W$19,2)}

can i put i use IF in this case?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Why don't you just format the cell as eg?

General;General;

The trailing semicolon suppresses the display of zero.

If the data being returned is TEXT...

=T(OFFSET(K1,$W$18,0,$W$19,2))

Otherwise...

=IF(OFFSET(K1,$W$18,0,$W$19,2)="","",OFFSET(K1,$W$18,0,$W$19,2))
