Offset question

I need to highlight all but the last row of data in a set range (L:K)
I have tried using an offset(-1) but it dont like it

this is what i have.

Selection.End(xlUp).Select
Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlToRight)).Select
Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlDown)).Offset(-1).Select

What rows and columns are populated?
Are there any blank rows within your data?
What cell are you starting this macro from (it is starting in whichever cell your cursor is in at the time it is run)?
