i have these routes and there are numbers of papers used
and i have a day field i need to have a data validation list box with the days so i pick a day then it will give me the data total for the previous seven days

so if i pick 01/04/11 the total would 1363 for route 000-002

OK. Do you want to calculate this for all routes, or do you want to specify a single route and calculate it just for that one ?

i got it but how do i get value of 1/8/2011 cell t2 of pay stub sheet to
cell am1 of circulation sheet

Lots of ways, depending on what exactly you mean.

At the simplest level, copy and paste (values).
Or create a formula that links to T2, say

='Pay stub sheet'!T2

Or maybe you mean something more advanced, in which case can you explain in more detail please ?
