Only show unique values

I have two spreadsheets with entries in Column A

I want to compare one sheet with the other and only see entries that do not appear in both sheets

How do you get Excel to remove all entries that have a match and just show unique values

You can use Conditional Formatting on each list to test for values not appearing in the other column A
ie the formatting of A1 in sheet1 compared to A1:A100 in sheet would be
=COUNTIF(Sheet2!$A$1:$A$100,A1)=0
