Bit dumb this but bear with me please. ( Access 2003 )
I have a form that I use to Search a database ( Locked )
I copied it so I can search and Edit the database
Now I want to copy it so that I Open it and automatically create a new record
No searching or editing just create a new record.
I thought this would be a simple normal database procedure you could tie to the form
but I can't find it . Any ideas gratefully accepted

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi

If you go into the Properties for the form (not the controls on it - the actual form itself), go to the "Data" page of the properties, and change the "Data Entry" option to "Yes" then this will do what you want.
