I have tried working this out but keep coming to a dead end so thought I'd ask the experts.
I want to simply open a comma delimited file in a macro but can't (even with all the prompts and hints).

This is the line I have so far:

Workbooks.Open NN090226.dat, delimiter:=

but can't work out what comes next or if something should come before.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Yes - bit since "upgrading" to 2007 recording macros is a bit hit and miss (and always get blank info when opening files, which is a real pain when they are fixed width).

Thanks anyway
