My computer crashed and I am not in a position to purchase office 2010 at the moment. I downloaded open office as a temporary measure but found that data linked from other files appears as "ref" and when I tried to paste special "values" it was not an option. Is there a way to overcome that with open office or am I stuck until I can purchase office 2010

Thank you
