I have hyperlinks to a PDF file from within Excel Everything works great in Excel 2003. PDF opens, close, and return to the Excel sheet.

BUT

In XP (three different machines) it opens and closes instantly, try as I may I can not open the PDF and get it to stay open to view. It will open then close with no options or time to do anything.
Is there a work around for this? In our office we are running both XP & '03. I have moved the Excel File in the same directory as the PDF file re done the Hyperlink address, Saved the file in '03 all with no luck, the results are the same. I have saved it on the server at work, local hard drive on my desk top, as well as a Memory stick. I have carried it home and checked it (Have both XP & '03 at home).
Needles to say it has me winding my bottom and scratching my watch. Any Help or Ideas?

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Although there are nearly a hundred views of your post, you have not yet received a reply.
Excel 2003 introduced many changes compared with earlier upgrades and I am not suprised that you are having some backwards compatibiilty.
I cannot guarantee having the answer but without seeing the code that you are using it is difficult to know where to start looking (and that is probably why there have been no replies so far).
