Open .tif files

Hello

I have .tif image files which would like to open them in Excel 2010.

Tried but it was opened as garbeg

How can be opened in Excel ?

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
You can't open .tif files in Excel, but you can Insert them as images. Goto Insert-->Picture.

Thanks for the reply

The files are originally made in Excel as tables then scanned and saved as .tif

Knowing this fact, Is there any solution how to open them as tables in Excel ?

You could try to run the scans through an OCR application, but why not just open the original documents?

Scanning converts the Excel printout into a graphic image that Excel can't read, it can only display.
