I imported my contacts into Outlook. How can I get the Birth/Anniversary dates to populate into the calendar?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
I saw a response on another forum that imported contact birthdays don't appear in the calendar, until you go into the contact, make a change and save it.

That was my fear. It's not an overwhelming task, as I don't have a ton of contacts. However, when I select the "Calendar" tab, how can I get it to automatically go to the actual calendar?

Currently, I get a list-type view and have to select "Calendar in Archive Folders" which reveals 2 choices..."Calendar in Archive Folders" and "Calendar". Then I check the calendar box and uncheck the "Calendar in Archive Folders" box.

Do you need the Calendar in the Archive folders, or was that just a result of the import?
I don't have Outlook on this PC so I can't go for a dig, but is there a way to define a default calendar? If so, would that remove the ambiguity?
If not, would it matter if the archived calendar was deleted?

Probably won't if it only holds old appointments. I guess I asked because you may need to keep a history, but if that's the case you could always run a quick check to see if the archive data is in the new calendar anyway.
To remove: In the Calendars tab, do you have an option to remove a calendar? Or inactivate it?
