I think this post is ok here! If not I apologize.

I am starting to develop some custom forms that departments can use to submit requests for coaching, training and other time off the phone. I have not been able to get much help with the forum I have found online, and no one seems to know of any books that a begginer could use. Therefore since I have always had good luck here I figured I would ask here. Can anyone recomend a site/book where I can learn the basics about outlook forms. Also, does anyone know if outlook forms are pretty much the same as forms we would use in excel or access?

Thanks for any advice you can offer up.

Brian

Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
You did not say which verion of Office is being used but please note that there were considerable changes between 2003 and 2007 (including Outlook VBA).
I have not seen many books on the subject of Outlook but rather like Sue Mosher's Microsoft Outlook Programming series - but note that most of it covers VBA (which is what I use).
Have a look at
http://www.outlookcode.com
and in particular
http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=35
for useful guides/tutorials.

Thanks Derek - I am pretty novice with VBA - only using very very basic code in some excel applications. So I am not sure if her stuff is too advance for me. I found a great site - so far- written by Gary Radley that seems to be right around my speed....slow. You have to start somewhere right? Thanks for the advice Derek and I will be sure to check out Sue's site - I have been there a little already .

We do have a number of users from time to time looking for Outlook answers so a link to that site might be useful for others here who are at a similar level.

I don't do much with Outlook, and I don't know if it covers what you are interested in, but I have found a couple of things for Outlook in the past at this site

BTW, your question is in the correct forum. :)
