I've got a very similar situation to this problem here that was addressed on these boards:http://www.mrexcel.com/archive2/22600/25729.htm (Note that it's a 5-year old post - this is what came up in a search of these boards however)
I have multiple sheets extracting varied amounts of data, I need to update these sheets regularly through the day. Is it possible to pass the password to the prompt that appears upon every sheets login to the DB.

The main difference is that the setup uses PivotTables rather than QueryTables. What I need is a setup that allows me to enter the prompted username/password info just once rather than once for every sheet that needs updating (which is what happens now).

I am using an Oracle 8 setup with Excel 2003. Any help/advice on how to proceed is greatly appreciated.[/quote]
