Password protect problem

I have a file that was created i think with Excel 2003 or 2007, and i'm using 2010. When you open it, it automatically gives you a prompt for a password. I do know what the password is, BUT i need to change it for a different group so they don't have access to the other file.

It's not saved in the "Save As> Tools" nor is it the Encryption in "File> Permissions". There is a UserForm that comes up to take the password, but the Sub ends after that. I have looked through both modules and can't find that specific password in any of the code.

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

Sure! This is what leads into the userform that asks for the password:

Code:
Sheets("LOGIN").Visible = TrueSheets("HOME").Visible = xlVeryHidden
Sheets("MACRO").Visible = xlVeryHidden
Sheets("LOGIN").Select
ActiveWorkbook.Protect "welcome", Structure:=True, Windows:=True
Application.ScreenUpdating = True

UserForm5.Show

End Sub

Is this all the code?
In your first post you refer to "both modules".
Isn't there anything else?

There is a lot more code, but it's not relevant to this. it deals with the other facets of the file (running data, rosters, things like that)

i've done a search for the password in the modules thinking that might find it but it doesn't.

Oh my dumb. So, I opened up the userform that takes the password, double clicked the "Ok" button, and changed the password there.

I feel really stupid. thanks all.
