I am trying to get a Userform to have a password so that it allows a person (who types in the correct password) to go to another sheet in a workbook??

I have hidden the sheet tabs thhrough "tools" - "Options" - just so people can't see all the sheet tabs!


Can anyone help!!!

Hi,

You might want to consider .Visible = XlSheetVeryhidden
which prevents the user from unhiding a sheet via the menu

Also if you wanted to store an encrypted password, see this link (Start at page 3 & work back!)

Also make sure you protect the workbook for structure so the user has to break the workbook password to unhide the very hidden sheet. (Still an easy thing, but at least it adds another layer of difficulty)
