Hi Guys,

im having a little difficulty at a basic step in macros.
All i want to do is paste down the formula in cell V2 to the bottom of the data, but it keeps going all the way down to row 1 million or so.

I only need to get it to the bottom of my data

any help would be much appreciated

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try

Code:
Sub Test2()
Dim LR As Long
LR = Cells.Find(What:="*", SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, SearchOrder:=xlByRows).Row
Range("V2").AutoFill Destination:=Range("V2:V" & LR)
End Sub
