I have a cell with prefix "item "@
when I enter a value eg 102 the cell displays item 102.
how can I copy that full string without macro and paste to other cell?

or a format that will insert the whole string as a value? probably complicated as would have to enter number then the cell refresh add the prefix and then re insert the full string as a value ?

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
how about a custom cell format of

"item @ "###

then just add your number
