I have an automated form that creates things on its own to a specified directory. For my testing I have been using my hard drive (C:\) but would like to test the real scenario which will be on a shared drive \\........

The problem is that I cant figure out how to direct it to the shared folder I want.

I have

Code:
        fname = "High Volume Scrap " & Format(Date, "yyyy") & ".xls"
        SheetName = Format(Date, "mmmm")
        Directory = "\\USPTCSM\FACTORY 81\High Volume (81-09)\Scrap Data Sheets"

        ChDir (Directory)

' I also use the form
        Workbooks.Open Filename:=Directory & fname

I dont think that this is the correct way to do it.

Thanks for the help in advance

David
