Pictures skewed when pasting table from Excel 2007 to Word 2007

I have a problem when trying to paste a table with photos from Excel 2007 to
Word 2007. The tables contain photos that have been pasted in. When I copy
the table and paste into Word, everything shifts upward. I'm pasting everything in as an enhanced metafile. Suggestions?

I'm not sure if this is the answer, but I have found that if I use excel's "copy as a picture" tool instead of just "copy", the image displays properly in word.
