Pie Chart Question

Please bear with me as I am a relative newbie with Excel.
I am working in Excel 2007 and have a question about individual lables on the pie chart.
I have a pie chart showing overall % and $ values for sales reps in our company that is a constantly changing chart based on monthly input of sales numbers. With over 30 reps, the individual pie lables are scrunched together. I have manually changed the location of the lables so that they can be read easily, and the chart looks great, but when I add additional data and the chart is re-drawn, the lables are all scunched up again. Is there a way to create a lable placeholder in the chart so that the lables are static even though the chart changes? We want to show lables for each section of pie, rather than just on the legend.
Thanks for the help.

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
I don't think there is a way to do what you want without VBA.

Alternately you can explode the piechart to show the smaller portions.

However, i would caution you to not use a PIE chart for more than 4 slices.

You should consider switching to a Column Chart when you have that many data points. You cannot compare/contrast pie slices and you can't show trends.
