I'm sorry if I dont explain myself very well but I'll give it a go.

My data consists of year, week number, branch, sales & have this is a pivot table as follows:

Report Filter: Brand
Column Labels: Week Number then Year
Values: Sum of Sales

I would like to create a pivot chart which is filterable by brand has sales on the 'y' axis & week number & year on the 'x' axis, which I have done, however I would like week 2 for this year right next to week 2 for last year as one series, if that makes sense. Currently it creates 2 Series, one for 2010 & one for 2011 (next to each other, but not as one series)

Can this be done?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Try moving the Year/Week No fields to the 'Row Labels' section, with 'Week No' appearing first... that seemed to work for me...

Hi, thanks for the reply.

This is ok & gives me nearly what I need, however, it puts them next to each other but not as 2 series (i.e. 2 different colours). Is there any way this can be done?

If this can't be done, is there any way that I can have 2 pivot tables feeding one chart?

If you remove the Week No field from the pivot table, so just the year shows, then change the formatting to how you would like it, then put the Week No back in the Row Labels section above Year then it should work... I know this isn't ideal but it's a workaround...

Hope this helps!
