Is it possible to display a category in a pivot table, however exclude it from a chart. So for example in my pivot table, I have the following categories: "Budget (2012), "Forecast with Actuals (2012)" "Sum of Variance". I would like to show "Sum of Variance" in the pivot table, but hide it in the Pivot Chart. I am comfortable using VBA if neccessary.

Thank you
Tony

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Nevermind, it looks like it is not possible, I will play around with slicers to get the right data.

Thank you
Tony
