Pivot SourceData Path does not display full range....Please help:

Hi, 'm trying to show Pivot SourceData Path however does not display full path & range....i think it is because the file path and workbook range is too long to be displayed...it show incomplete right side of the path and workbook range...
So please advice.

I would hit Control-C instead of OK to pause execution, then in the immediate window:

?ActiveSheet.PivotTables("PivotTable1").SourceData

Do you get all the address this way? How long is it actually?

Hi Xen, thanks for walking in here....
When i tried that way in immidiate window...it show
'[RAW DATA.xls]PIVOT'!R1C1:R257C10
without the full file path...


I also tried this way : ?ActiveSheet.PivotTables("PivotTable1").PivotCache.SourceData
and same result....

Not sure. It appears from what you've posted the source data does not show the file path. I would investigate other properties of the pivot cache. There may be a connection property for it so try (I'm not really sure though):

MsgBox ActiveSheet.PivotTables("PivotTable1").PivotCache.Connection
