Pivot Table Data Source Options

Hello,

I've searched the archives to no avail.

I'm a network admin, not an excel expert by any means. I've inherited a huge custom pivot table that was created in Excel97. We're now using Excel 2000 (running in a thin client environment).

In pivot table options I need to have the "save data with table layout" CHECKED for all of my users. Yet everytime they check it, the setting is NOT saved when they go back into the table. This doesn't appear to be a setting that is save in the users windows profile. How can I get this setting to stick?

Can anybody help with this issue?

Thank you,

Ron

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
FYI - this issue is solved by applying the e2kmac.exe patch that fixes an excel macro security glitch as well as this issue with data in pivot tables.
