I have a 2nd pivot table that i created from another table. Two of my columns are labeled "inslsp" and "otslsp" and these columns are in the "General" format. In the pivot table, I am using these fields as filters and when i open the filter numbers such as 2, 8, 19, etc. are appearing as $2.00, $8.00, $19.00, etc. in accounting format. In another pivot table I have that i brought in data from a database, i am able to right click the filter field, select field settings, and select the "Number Format" box in this window. Now in the pivot table I have manually created just from a table in excel, when I go to field settings it does not contain the Number Format box. Anyone have another idea how to change the number format of a pivot table filter field? Thanks.
