Pivot Table filters

Hi,

Why do I keep getting old data itmes in the pivot table filter.
Example: if I have a column called country within the data source, in the filter I get a country that does not exist. Though there is no data when I refresh the pivot, why does the country name appear still in the drop-down. The country name existed earlier, but not now. So shouldnt the dropdown update accordingly.
