Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hi, Akber

Start from a new workbook & the pivot table wizard, ALT-D-P. Choose external data at the first step. Follow the wizard. If you get a message about no visible tables in the source data choose 'options' then 'system tables' to see the worksheets. Go to the end of the wizard and choose the option to edit in MS Query. Join the tables using the GUI or via the SQL button. You can also apply whatever filtering and aggregation you like also, btw. When done, use the 'open door' icon to exit MS Query & complete the pivot table. If you like, the resultant worksheet containing the pivot table can be moved into the source data file.
