Hi Guys

Another day another question

Is it possible within pivot tables to set two page field filters.

I would like page field 1 to be month and page field 2 to filter days within that month.

any help always appreciated.

Yes - you can have multiple page fields and filter on each. Without more info there's not much more I can say.

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 108pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=143 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 73pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3547" width=97><COL style="WIDTH: 35pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 1682" width=46><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 73pt; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl23 height=17 width=97>Month</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; WIDTH: 35pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl23 width=46>(All)</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl23 height=17>Date</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: black; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl23>(All)</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" height=17></TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8"></TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl22 height=17>Count of Colour</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl24> </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl22 height=17>Colour</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl24>Total</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl22 height=17>Blue</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl24 align=right x:num>12</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl26 height=17>GREEN</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl25 align=right x:num>20</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl27 height=17>Grand Total</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid" class=xl23 align=right x:num>32</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Pagefield1 = month( Jan - Dec)
Pagefield2 = Date (01/1/11 - 31/12/11)

if i set pagefield1 = May i want pagefield2 to contain "(all)" - for may only
and the dates 01/05/11 - 31/05/11

so my data in the pivot report changes accordingly

Oh, I see - no, the dropdowns don't work that way, I'm afraid (unlike the autofilter ones).
